Local Doctor Attends
International Symposium
HOPEWELL JUNCTION, NY – Dr. Lynne Kavulich, D.C. was in attendance
as President Jaclyn Busch Touzard and Joseph Busch, D.C. of the
American Chiropractor Publication greeted hundreds of doctors in the
Republic of Panama for the 2nd Annual Chiropractic
International Symposium in February 2007.
The Symposium was co-sponsored by the World Federation
of Chiropractic with members in 87 countries. Secretary-General
David Chapman-Smith and Rand Baird, D.C. addressed doctors
specializing in Chiropractic, Medicine and Osteopathy. Professional
guidelines for the World Health Organization were presented (www.wfc.org)
Dr. Lynne Kavulich joined physicians from the U.S.,
Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark and ten South and
Central American countries. Dr. Lynne Kavulich attended sessions
discussing the latest breakthroughs in healing and rejuvenation
which are extending and improving lives throughout the world.
Dr. Kavulich received her continuing education credits
from Dr. James Cima, D.C, a world renowned expert in Somato-Viscero
Reflexes and cranial manipulation. Many conditions affecting the
reproductive, endocrine, digestive, circulatory, respiratory, and
immune systems can be greatly enhanced by using these procedures.
Dr. Edgard Nunez, M.D., D.C., P.T., a neurologist from
Argentina, addressed early diagnosis of osteoporotic vertebral
fractures in the Chiropractic setting. Dr. Nunez discussed with Dr.
Kavulich the role of Chiropractic and Orthopedics in the follow up
of post-surgical vertebral compression fractures improving recovery
and the prevention of osteoporosis.
Dr. Kavulich gained insight into the Digital Motion
X-ray Imaging (DMX) studies presented by Dr. John Postlethwaite,
D.C. There are now diagnostic radiology techniques that can detect
causes of pain and headaches due to trauma which are commonly missed
with MRI and other studies.
Dr. Eric Kaplan, D.C., spoke on the magnificence of the
power of the body’s innate healing ability. His poignant book
Dying to be Young gave an account of botox injection, paralysis
and the power of the mind.
Dr. Kavulich had the privilege of interviewing Dr.
Melody Holladay, D.C., of Sedona, Arizona on her work of rebuilding
injured joints. Dr. Holladay had been an aspiring physicist with
plans to be a surgeon. As a former Pentathlon and Olympiad contender
she fully recovered from a paralytic trauma through Chiropractic
treatment. She then diverted to a career in Chiropractic. Dr.
Holladay now helps numerous people including professional athletes

Among the courses offered, Dr. Kavulich attended the
Koren Specific Technique taught by founder Dr. Tedd Koren, D.C. This
is a dynamic chiropractic low force technique used to correct
headaches, dyslexia and the multiple conditions caused by our daily
postural distortions.
Dr. Charles Blum, D.C., discussed the Treatment of
Severe Lumbar Herniated Discs. Severe herniated discs can present
compression and torsive stresses, as well as be associated with
bilateral and unilateral anterolisthesis sometimes relating to
central disc herniations. Specific reproducible indicators will help
the doctor to clearly diagnose and treat these incapacitating
conditions. Dennis Woggon, D.C., spinal expert of the Clear
Institute discussed with Dr. Kavulich the impact of breakthroughs in
scoliosis treatment.
